Retreat October 2018

1127N. San Antonio Avenue, Ontario CA

The Nonviolence of Jesus:

Encountering our Wounds and Receiving the Balm of Divine Healing

led by Giovanni Esti, Ph.D.

The retreat brought participants to confront their own violence as both agents and victims of it, but aimed at transcending the reaching of awareness of such state of affairs. Through reflection, contemplative prayer, art-as-meditation, and rituals, participants have been helped to become available to the work of the healing Spirit of God.

Schedule*: Friday, October 5 5pm-9pm

Saturday, October 6 8am-6pm

Sunday, October 7 8am-12pm

*Participation to the whole program is assumed; exceptions can be made if the participant is able to be present from 7pm to 9pm on Friday and all day Saturday.

Giovanni Esti received his Ph.D. in New Testament from CGU. Originally from Italy, he spent a decade in Egypt and presently lives a semi-heremitical life in Murrieta, CA.

The retreat was held according to schedule and received very positive comments from the participants.
